…And then it comes luck
This will surely sound obvious, though it’s true that photography is not only about vision or technique, it’s sometimes about luckiness, as these pics demonstrate.
One morning, during my last holiday, I decided to get up earlier to go out and get some shots. Even though I was tired, I felt it was the right thing to do. So I picked the bicycle and went to the port.
I took some very ordinary shots (i.e. very boring stuff) and then I came across this boat. I liked the colors of it and I took some pictures. I initially didn’t see the cat, since he was hidden underneath the deck, but then I saw it and began to shoot like mad.
Maybe the boat itself, apart from its colors, wouldn’t have told that much of a story, but finding that cat changed the pic altogheter.
So, if you feel like you should go somewhere, it’s wise to follow that instinct (unless, of course, you feel like you should jump out of a bridge or kill somebody), ’cause you may be well rewarded.
